Keepin' On

I haven’t written much this week because it has been a busy week, and I have been feeling pretty good. I didn’t get nausea this time after Chemo (Nice!!), but I got really tired. I slept on and off all day on Saturday, and I think I was asleep more than I was awake. I am starting to have some symptoms now. My tastebuds are going, I am feeling a little neuropathy in my fingers, and I get flushed a lot. The rash on my head has pretty much gone away with the meds the doctor gave me, so that is good. The farther out I get away from Chemo Day, the better I feel, and this is my week off — no Chemo today! — so I should be feeling well until next Friday, which is good because three of my cousins come to visit me today!! My sister came this past week, so it has been sooooo nice having her here, and it will be nice that she can see my cousins again, too. I don’t think I have seen my cousins since a trip to visit them in Washington when I was in 9th grade, so I am really excited to see my childhood playmates again. They are three of four sisters, and we will be missing the youngest and thinking of her this weekend. ❤️ I have a dear friend coming to visit a couple of days after my cousins visit, and then six of my high school friends will come to visit the beginning of November. Feeling overwhelmed by all the love and support I have in this fight!
