The Plan is Coming Together

Well, things are starting to happen a little too quickly now! I talked with my oncology CRNP today, and I will have another PET scan tomorrow morning, and then I will meet with an oncologist on Tuesday. She said they have a few treatment options to offer me and that they will most likely involve IV chemotherapy. She also requested that my samples be examined to see if I qualify for any immunotherapy. Fingers crossed. They are going to treat my cancer as triple negative, like they did the first time around. So, big day coming up on Tuesday. Glad Tom will be able to go with me since we have been a team through all of this, and four ears are better than two when it comes to digesting so much information at once.
