Next Up: 2nd Biopsy

Today, I met with the doctor who will perform my CT guided biopsy. It will be a week from tomorrow. Hate having to wait another week, followed by 5-7 days of waiting for results when I am nervous about the cancer growing and spreading in the meantime. But I am just glad to have a plan again: biopsy, followed by results, followed by treatment. I like having a plan and information. As long as I have those things, I can handle and deal with things much better. Next up: 2nd biopsy. I was a little nervous about the CT guided biopsy. The doctor will go into my lung with a needle through my back, get samples, and then I will stay there for about four hours to make sure everything is OK. I think the whole thing is kind of fascinating, but I am glad I will be almost out for it. I am praying for a great sample and quick results. Will let you know how it went next Tuesday.
