Feeling Good Enough to Shop!๐๐ค๐ฎ
I really thought I would wake up having side effects today, but no!! I had a great day! I ran errands with Tom, and I rolled the back window down in the 4Runner and enjoyed a nice breeze flowing through the car. It was like a nice fall day out today! I worked on my calendar, putting my treatment dates in and filling in all the kidsโ appointments and activities for the school year. This seems doable, at least for the fall. It felt kind of weird flipping through the calendar, the year, the months, the days and wondering how many of them I would see. I started working on a bucket list. It is pretty short, and the most outrageous thing is a trip to Italy or England, two places I have always wanted to go. I realized I have been more places, seen more things and done more things than I ever could have imagined in my life because of Tom and our military life. I want to finish up some projects, finish a novel I have been working on, pay off my debt, and take a family trip to Universal again. So, aside from the world travel, Iโd say I have a pretty doable list. I liked getting organized today and am glad I could spend the day doing it without any side effects. I also took the bandages off my port, so it feels good and pretty normal again. And while the boys were at work and Tom was in Annapolis for the day, I spent some time Internet shopping and found these pants in the picture. I figure I am going to need some more comfy lounge pants, so I ordered these joggers with the perfect saying! So, if everything continues to go well, I wonโt plan to update until my next chemo on Friday. Hopefully, I wonโt have to make a depressing my-hair-is-falling-out post in the meantime. ๐ญ Have a good week, everyone!
