The Best Kind of Medicine

Boy, were the hugs from my good friends and family the best medicine as I went back home to the Midwest for the funerals of my friend and my grandma. I really needed that. I am feeling good and had no time to think about cancer the past two weeks, so I don’t have much to write about today.

I will talk to my doctor this upcoming week. I have been watching a lump on the back of my head, behind my ear, for a couple of months, and I’m getting a little concerned about it and want to get it  checked out, so I will mention it to my doctor. I’m hoping it’s just a swollen lymph node.

And I need to get an X-ray today after chemo for a possible fractured bone in my foot. It has been hurting for a few weeks and was a killer to walk on down the long airport hallways. No idea how I could have possibly done it?? But between my previously fractured rib and this possible fracture, I guess it’s good I’m on the dreaded bone strengthener.

I’ll write again after my doctor appt. next week. I think we’ll get my next scan set up at this appt. Stay safe and healthy, everyone!
