Still Elated!

I wasn’t going to write today because I said so much yesterday, but when I got to the Chemo Cafe today, my nurses were just as excited as I was about my scan results! They congratulated me and hugged me. It is an odd feeling when you have terminal cancer to celebrate the successes! But that is what I was feeling after I read my results — yes, success! — after I saw my doctor yesterday and again today. Maybe the small things are the big things when it comes to metastatic cancer as they are in life. And I will celebrate every success. My nurse said she thinks everything is a go for Disney, but I will wait to hear from the USO before I start celebrating that. Still sounds too good to be true! Well, my Chemo is almost done running. I may update again if I have any side effects from the chemo again. Otherwise, I will update again next Thursday from Chemo.
