A Wee Bit Happy, A Wee Bit Healthy

It’s a chilly morning here in Maryland, but the sun is finally shining, and I am relaxing waiting for my chemo and immuno to arrive. I spoke with my oncologist last week. My bloodwork still looks good. I will have my next scan in May. That’s going to come up quickly. I can’t believe it’s already March! Have just been busy living the past two weeks and only really thinking of cancer when I’m writing my devotional. I have Parts I and II done. Just have to write my last seven devotions for Part III, and I’ll finish up next week. I think writing it has been cathartic, and it’s very personal – thoughts I don’t get to sort out in my blog, so that has probably, finally, enabled me to just live without thinking about cancer so much anymore. Between my blog and the book, I’ve gotten through everything that’s been on my mind regarding my cancer, and I’m in a good place now.

I am having chemo today on the same day my friend’s wife receives hers, so I’m thinking about her and sending good vibes to Minnesota.

Not much on my mind regarding cancer today, so I’ll keep this short, for once! 🤣 Stay safe and healthy, everyone! Will update again from chemo in two weeks.

Happy St.Patrick’s Day! 🍀
